Austria

In terms of quality distribution Austria is the most successful wine producing country in the German market. Is it only because of good luck or the charme and politness of the Austrians or are there serious reasons for this success?

In fact the success is caused by passion and vitality of the Austrian wine producers and the excellent quality of their wines. It is indeed admireable, that even most established wineries permanteley question their own methods in order to keep increasing the quality. In the same time they are strongly focused on biological agriculture and valueable traditions.
