During the recent years there has been a focus on spanish winelands because of spectacularly designed wineries and rediscovered old wineregions. However it has to be questioned whether there are enough winelovers in the world who can possibly consum all this new premium wine from Spain. Therefore it seems that some of the new wineries have to sell their wines for less money than they had planed.
Therefore Spain keeps a constant image: A country with plenty of culture and tradition producing particularly red wines in great quality to affordable prices. Exceptions only confirm the rule.
