Switzerland
Obviously, Switzerland is not famous for producing wine. It´s rather a purple cow, Heidi, cheese and the banks what comes on mind thinking about the small republic in the alps. Besides the capacitiy of 15.000 hectare of winelands is too small and the thirst of the Swiss to big in order to be able to export significant quantities of wine and to get recognized in the world of wine.
But friends of handcrafted, individual wines will find their El Dorado in Switzerland. There are many small farmers and enthusiasts who produce wines under most different natural circumstances in the different valleys of the alps. Particularly in Switzerland you can experience our theme: wine – reflection of earth and man.
